Two Freeform shows are heading towards a DVD release this Spring.
The Bold Type: Season 1 is scheduled for a DVD release on May 15th through Universal Pictures Home Entertainment. The series stars Katie Stevens (Faking It), Meghann Fahy and Australian actress Aisha Dee (Chasing Life).
The Bold Type is inspired by the life of “Cosmopolitan” editor in chief, Joanna Coles. The show is a glimpse into the outrageous lives and loves of those responsible for a global women’s magazine. Their struggles are about finding your identity, managing friendships and getting your heart broken, all while wearing the perfect jeans to flatter any body type.
Next show up is Famous in Love: The Complete First Season. This show is yours to own through the Warner Archive Collection on May 22nd. This DVD is a manufacture-on-demand (MOD) release. The show stars Bella Thorne (Shake It Up).
An ordinary college student’s big break in a Hollywood blockbuster puts her in a tricky love triangle with her roommate and her co-star. Can she maintain her schooling, friendships, and her newfound stardom?
The second season of The Bold Type premieres on Freeform Tuesday June 12th, while Famous in Love is currently airing season 2 on Freeform Wednesday nights.
