‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’ is rated PG-13

Solo: A Star Wars Story is getting closer to its release date, so what’s the verdict on its rating?

The MPAA has given Solo: A Star Wars Story a PG-13 rating in America for “sequences of sci-fi action/violence”.

It was no surprise that Solo received a PG-13 rating, in the lines of previous Disney Star Wars films. Only the Fox distributed Star Wars films have been given a PG rating, from A New Hope to Attack of the Clones, excluding Revenge of the Sith which was the first Star Wars film to receive a PG-13 classification. However, the original first three were classified PG before PG-13 was introduced to America.
