‘Incredibles 2’ American release coming to Digital, Blu-ray, 4K Ultra HD & DVD

It’s showtime!

The home video release for Incredibles 2 has been confirmed in a treat bag. Yes you read that correctly! Not from a press release from Disney, but from a treat bag that was given out to at Walt Disney World during this year’s Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.

Laughing Place posted on Twitter an insert from the treat bag which revealed the Incredibles 2 home video release date (seen below).

The insert reads that Incredibles 2 will be available on Digital platforms first on October 23rd (a Disney norm), and then find its way to physical stores on November 6th for Blu-ray, 4K Ultra HD, and DVD.

This strange reveal falls in line with how the Incredibles 2 theatrical poster was spotted out in the wild, weeks before Disney/Pixar officially revealed it.

With the date looming closer, we should be hearing an official confirmation from Disney very soon, especially over the special features. However, we spotted on the JB Hi-Fi website that the Blu-ray release will in fact be a 2-disc edition, falling in line with prior Pixar Blu-ray releases as of late, with the exception of The Good Dinosaur. At least unlike the first Incredibles Blu-ray, Australians won’t miss out on the bonus material disc this time around!

For American stores, different versions of the cover have already started to pop-up on many retail outlets online. The regular edition cover hasn’t been revealed yet, but that didn’t stop other retailers such as Best Buy and Target.

Best Buy has a washing machine steelbook cover with one of the super suits being washed. Whether or not this steelbook is machine washable is up for debate? However, the disc artwork is shown-off below, also well as the second bonus material disc.

As spotted by Pixar Post, the Target edition offers a cool cover of Bob ironing his super suit, while Jack-Jack is watching from the clothes basket. This edition includes a filmmaker gallery and storybook (seen below to the left), while also including a metallic Jack-Jack figurine (as seen below on the right).
