Part of the float in Disneyland’s A Christmas Fantasy parade collapses on the route a few days ago (December 15th), throwing poor old Santa Claus from his sleigh!
But don’t worry folks! He is okay! š

On Santa’s float, he rides in his sleigh which gets suspended between two supports on each side. It seems to be that the suspension apparatus has been broken, thus rotating the sleigh forward.
Santa was strapped to the float’s chassis by a safety harness and he was not thrown from the float!
Although he was left hanging until he could be removed by the parade personnel.
The float continued through to Main Street to complete the parade’s route since it couldn’t be removed easily in the middle of the parade.

Santa has returned to the parade but is temporary in a different float.
So no need to fear! He will still be able to deliver your presents! š š
